The calculator and the quote comparer run in your browser. The figures you type there are not sent to us or stored.

The tools for AI assistants are different: when software calls our server to run a calculation, the figures it sends reach our server to be calculated. The calculation service does not log or store them; the access log described below records that a request was made, not its content.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies at the moment. Our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) for security and fault-finding. Logs rotate at 32 MiB and retain up to five rolled files; this is a size limit, rather than a fixed number of days. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.

Hostinger Email handles our mailbox. We keep correspondence to answer questions and retain a correction history. There is currently no automatic deletion period for email or the operational inbox journal. We use AI assistance through OpenAI's Codex for inbox triage and drafting replies; message content may be processed by that service. Our website and calculation service run on our VPS. We do not sell correspondence or use it for advertising.

To request deletion of your correspondence, email daniel@batterypayback.co.uk.
